Married in '65, moved to Cleveland, then to Midland, Michigan then on to Ann Arbor. Moved back to the Dayton are in 1976 and have been here ever since. Larry and I retired in 2001 and have really been enjoying retirement. We have four grandchildren: Michelle, Tabitha, Anna and Charlie.
Nov 24--Life has been a little rocky for us. I had breast cancer in 2007, surgery, chemo and radiation and now have good health. In September, Larry was diagnosed with prostate cancer so he was scheduled to have robotic surgery Nov 17. However, on the 2nd I fell and severely dislocated and fractured my shoulder. After surgery I came home loaded with pain pills, etc but am healing. Timing was terrible because I can't drive. So with the grace and help of our children and terrific friends, we have gotten through this part. We are both healing now and are looking forward to getting back to "normal". We are trying to view these as speed bumps on the road to retirement. Hopefully, we have had our last. I so enjoy keeping up with everyone.
The Woods was and still is a place a peace and renewal. My first time there was my senior high school year and it is still with me. The Woods helped me become who I am today.
Almost too many to list. Probably the inventive ways some had of avoiding 4 Stars.

To think, we woulda coulda been planning for a trip to see many a Woodsie... in person—yikes! What a year—and it’s just the first quarter. Miles to go. Birthdays and Spring and now this Covid..Something tells me that posting to you and Cathy on the same day—and looking
ahead to lots of 77ths upcoming... and several I’ve missed—just more evidence of the
Providence of our lives! Stay home, stay safe. Stay connected here and in our hearts. The photo’s from the SMWC site feed. Always mindful of our journeys in SMTG’s path.
Oh my the distractions and delightful adventures of our lives—and that translates to missing birthday posts! So add another belated wish for all things good and full of grace in the year to come.

What have you heard from Vickie Vallecillo? I sent her a message and haven’t heard back. My daughter-in-law is heading to PR and wanted to give her a contact. Hope Vickie is OK.
Good news, Vicky. You've been in my thoughts and prayers lately.

Karen found me through Facebook and we were surprised that we lived within an hour of each other. We met for lunch and found the 54 (!) years were just a blink. She and I were suite mates sophomore year. Happy to have made contact again and hope that she joins us for the Lunch Bunch in Cincinnati on first Saturdays.

Adding another voice to the chorus of happy birthday singers! May this be another one of those "very good years" for you and your family.
