Hello, dear classmates. Hope all is well with you and your families.

We’re going to try a new way to share class news that has been endorsed by Kate Satchwell, better known as Krider, who has been our faithful class secretary for longer than I can remember. SMWC has moved class notes online so using our class website is not a unique idea.

Anytime you feel like sharing something, go to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College Class of 1965, St Mary-Of-The-Woods  (www.smwc1965.org), login and click on your name on the right under WHO'S ONLINE NOW.  Immediately under your profile, select POST A COMMENT on your Profile and tell us what’s going on in your life. Kate suggested having your grandchildren write something, or anyone who knows and loves you.  These notes are seen by anyone who follows you, which brings up another point to review.

On the left click on Notify Me.  It takes you to a number of options you can select. Profile Subscriptions lists all the classmates you can follow. Not everyone is registered, but I’ve just selected all of you. If you post something and I follow you, I get an email to take a look.

Kate has said she will collect everyone’s comments at the end of the year and write a summary for all of us and maybe for the SMWC class news too.  We’ll see how t goes and decide how to change, stop or continue with the plan.  It only works if you keep in touch.  If you need better instructions, please let me know.

The best way to get started is to take a few minutes to update your profile page and add some current photos. If you need help, ask a friend who has done it or ask me.
